Both. Some of our most interesting projects started with nothing more than a problem description. We can help with scoping, requirements definition, and feasibility analysis before any engineering begins. If you have a working spec, we can move faster — but it's not a prerequisite.
We're happy to sign an NDA before any detailed conversations. We treat all client information with strict confidentiality by default — we never share client details, project specifics, or IP without explicit written consent.
We start with a discovery call to understand the product and scope. We then run a short paid discovery sprint (typically 1–2 weeks) to produce a technical feasibility assessment, architecture proposal, and project roadmap. This keeps both parties aligned before a larger commitment. Engineering then proceeds in defined milestone-based phases.
Our primary model is fee-based. For exceptional early-stage opportunities, we're open to hybrid arrangements on a case-by-case basis. This is something we discuss openly during the scoping phase if relevant.
We take products to manufacturing-ready — which means complete production files, BOM, Gerbers, assembly drawings, and vendor recommendations. We maintain relationships with reliable contract manufacturers in India and can facilitate introductions. The manufacturing contract itself is typically between you and the CM directly.
